She is Associate Professor and, since 2000, she has been working in the Faculty of Educational Sciences at Universidad de Santiago de Compostela. She finished her music studies in Argentina in 1991, completing her training in musical language and singing in Spain. She holds the Willems Pedagogical Diploma in Music Education and is a Music Therapy Instructor. In 2011 she defended her doctoral thesis entitled "The media in the specialists' teaching practice in music education in Galicia" at the USC, for which she was granted the extraordinary prize.
She has collaborated in several UE-funded projects, such as the ICT-Go-Girls!, the Cloud Computing for School Networking, and the Create Your Future, Career Counselling for Cancer Survivors projects. Her research career is linked to Music Education and to interdisciplinary artistic projects.
She is a member of the Academic Committees of the USC PhD program in Education, and the Master Degrees in Secondary Education and in Specific Didactics.
