PhD in Educational Sciences

She holds a PhD in Educational Sciences from Universidad Complutense de Madrid (2016), for which she was granted the Extraordinary Doctorate Award. She also holds a Degree in Pedagogy from the same university.

At present, she is the Academic Director of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Communication in Universidad Europea de Madrid, as well as Chair of Psychometrics in a research partnership with the company People Experts. Her research focuses on the measurement and evaluation of educational systems, educational innovation projects and technology applied to education. She has participated in 18 externally funded research projects, being the Principal Investigator of an ERASMUS+ project, leading 3 of them and coordinating another one. She has also participated in 7 innovation projects. As a result of these activities she has presented 18 contributions in conferences and seminars, out of which 16 were international. She has 12 publications in specialised scientific journals, 2 of which are indexed in Journal Citation Reports (JCR) and 7 in SJR-SCOPUS. In addition, she has published 2 book reviews in JCR and 6 books/chapters, out of which 2 were edited by the Ministry of Education and 2 e-books have been translated into two additional languages.

She is an active member of the Research Group on Measurement and Evaluation of Educational Systems at Universidad Complutense de Madrid (the group was evaluated by the State Research Agency (AEI) as good, with an overall rating of 86 points) and a member of the Research Group on Educational Innovation at Universidad Europea de Madrid. She also serves in the Review Board of the Revista Complutense de Educación and the Revista de Educación-Ministerio de Educación, Cultura y Deporte, and is a member of the Advisory Board of the journal Tendencias Pedagógicas.
