Singer, psychopedagogue, teacher and researcher of the Musical Expression Didactics Area of Universidade de Vigo (Ourense Campus). She is trained and experienced in didactics and vocal technique and has completed several international research and teaching stays at: Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca (Italy), Masarykova Univerzita (Czech Republic), Universidad Nacional de La Plata (Argentina), University College London (UK), Universidade Federal do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), and Instituto Politécnico de Bragança (Portugal). During those stays, she combined her interests on research topics such as singing therapy, singing, childhood, educational innovation and equity, all of them addressed as well in her doctoral thesis on good psycho-pedagogical practices for vocal and singing education in childhood, supervised by Miguel Ángel Zabalza Beraza and Carol Gillanders.

She belongs to the research group “Didáctica especial 6: actividade física, expresión e creatividade” and to the teaching innovation group Innov-arte, and she also collaborates with the groups MusicalETI and Liter-21, among others. She is founder of the vocal education and singing psycho-pedagogical project Voces Ledas, through which she participates in academic activities related to voice, education and creativity. She has authored several publications and has experience both as a participant and a research manager of national and international research and educational innovation projects. Her research interests include voice (vocal and singing education, vocal technique, singing therapy); music education in childhood (curriculum design, learning environments and didactic choreographies); and educational practices, innovation and equity in music education.
