PhD in Psychology

He holds a Degree in Piano and Music Theory from the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid, as well as a PhD in Psychology from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. He has developed his research career in Spain, Canada, the United States, Singapore and Hong Kong. His research focuses on the analysis of teaching practices and teacher professional development, with special emphasis on musical proficiency at different educational levels (early childhood, primary education, secondary education, conservatories).

He serves as Associate Professor at The Education University of Hong Kong, where he leads several research projects, as well as he develops and teaches early childhood education courses for pre-service and in-service teachers.
